Competition Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest, to see who's really got top form. We root for each other, cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
Regional Every year in March or April
International In the fall, the winners of all regional contests -- and a few "wildcards" -- gather together at International competition. In 2011 International competition was held in Houston, TX, October 17-24. You can view some of the contest on the Sweet Adelines International website. This is the ultimate in female barbershop competition -- not to be missed!
