Welcome!

Northern Gateway Chorus (NGC) is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop-style singing. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.

 

WE WON FIRST PLACE IN OUR DIVISION, PLACING THIRD OVERALL!!!!! (missed second place by only three points)

 

We also won the "Most Improved Chorus" award, improving our score by a record-setting 183 points!

 

Here we are at the "Encore Performance" after receiving our Medals & Ribbons. 

Needless to say, our convention-competition weekend was totally exciting, rewarding, exciting, tiring, exciting, exhilarating, superb - did we mention exciting?!!!

 

We're already planning for next year & what we can do to improve even more.

Our "super-director", Martha Segura, inspires us to reach new heights with each rehearsal & performance. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. We send "singing telegrams" on Valentine's Day, and in an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the highest level possible, we compete each year in a regional contest.
